I recently started eating apples. It has gotten to the point where I’m practically addicted. Now I can’t go a day without eating at least one.
Yesterday I was walking back from the library, eating an apple of course, when I spotted a little squirrel digging around in the grass. I was going to keep walking but for some strange reason I stopped. Without even thinking, I took a few more bites of my apple and gently tossed it his way. At first I could tell that he was startled by the way he was twitching but as I stood there in silence he started to move closer. I watched him with eager eyes, as he timidly went up to the apple, sniffed it, grabbed it in his mouth and finally ran up the tree. It was literally one of the cutest things I have ever witnessed. And I can’t fully explain why, but it was also one of the happiest moments of my life. It just made me feel so good inside.
This made me realize that I don’t do enough “nice things” in a day. My conscience is seriously damaged and I need to fix it.
Side note: Speaking of apples the back of my iPhone is shattered. It’s all stupid N’s fault for stealing my case and then losing it. And then forcing me to go to the vending machine with him and then nudging me causing my iPhone to hit the concrete floor….ughghghhghg!
I made up a new song and it goes a little something like this, “MY LIFE IS OVEEEEEEEER, SOOOO OVEEEEEEEEER!” repeatX1000
N. and I took turns giving each other “piggy-bank rides” (that’s what N. accidentally called it) down the hall. I’m so impressed that I could actually pick him up even if it was only for like 20 seconds at a time. Obviously it was more fun when I was on his back.
As weird as this is going to sound…………………. I just finished watching my very first Korean drama!!! It’s safe to say that I am officially addicted. The number one reason being Lee Min Ho and his role as Goo Jun Pyo in “Boys Over Flowers.” He’s so freaking adorable that it kills me.
